Accounting Specialization

Meet the academic requirements for direct progression toward the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada Professional Education Program (CPA PEP).

Select courses within the specialization are also approved for credit transfer toward the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) and Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designations.

Supply Chain Management Specialization

The program supports meeting the prerequisites for applying to become a Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) through our accreditation agreement with Supply Chain Canada. 

General

The BBA General program includes coursework that, upon completing of additional requirements, helps you meet the academic requirements for eligibility to enter the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) as part of the pathway toward the Chartered Professional Accountant designation.

In addition, certain accounting courses within the program have been approved for credit transfer toward the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) and Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designations administered by the Canadian Payroll Association. 

Project Management Specialization

The program is structured to align with the standards established by Project Management Institute (PMI). The curriculum supports academic preparation toward both the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications.

Energy Management Specialization

By completing the BBA with a Specialization in Energy Management, you receive the equivalency of EMP 101 (Energy Management Professional) training on your record – a stepping stone towards the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation.

Yorkville University offers six programs that are designated in New Brunswick and are delivered online: a Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy (DCP), a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP), a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA General), a Master of Education in Adult Education (M.Ed), a Master of Education in Educational Leadership (M.Ed), and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Pedagogy (MECP). The New Brunswick campus also offers an online associate diploma in Interior Decorating, a Graduate Certificate in Education (GCE): Leadership in Social Justice, and a Graduate Certificate in Education (GCE): Teaching and Learning.

Yorkville University offers an Associate of Arts program and also offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (General), and with specializations in Accounting, Energy Management, Project Management and Supply Chain Management. These programs have received consent in British Columbia and are delivered on campus and online.

The Institution has been granted consent by the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills to offer the Associate of Arts for a 3-year term starting on 01/16/24, the Bachelor of Business Administration for a 4-year term starting on 06/17/25, and to use the term “university” for a 4-year term starting on 06/17/25.

In Ontario, Yorkville University offers a Bachelor of Business Administration in Project Management (BBA PM), a Bachelor of Interior Design (BID), and a Bachelor of Creative Arts (BCA), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), all of which are delivered on campus and online.

The institution has been granted consent by the Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security to offer the BBA PM for a 5-year term starting 01/28/25, the BID for 7-year term starting 01/28/25, and the BCA for a 7-year term starting 12/17/2020, and the MBA for a 5-year term starting 06/27/2025.
